Step 1: Wash Your Hands Well
Our hands tend to naturally accumulate dirt, oil, and other residues throughout the day. Thoroughly washing hands with soap and water helps rid these substances, preventing them from transferring onto the lenses or the frames during cleaning. It minimizes the risk of scratches and smudges on the lenses or their coatings.
Step 2: Rinse Off With Water
Before wiping or cleaning your glasses, rinse both sides of the lenses under a gentle stream of water. This helps remove abrasive particles of dust and debris that can otherwise scratch the lenses when wiped with a cloth. The water also reduces static cling and helps dissolve oils and other residues, making it easier for further cleaning.
Step 3: Use Aqualens Cleaning Solution
Next up, spray some of our Aqualens lens-cleaning solution on both sides of the lenses and clean up thoroughly with the microfibre cloth provided with your case. Step 4: Final Touches
Lastly, inspect the lenses and gently wipe off any remaining smudges. Make sure to only use the cloth that comes with your glasses. Avoid harsh materials like paper towels, tissues, or random cleaning cloths as they can be rough and unnecessarily scratch your lenses.
